Well done to Accorder composer Harry Lightfoot who’s behind the music for BBC4’s superb new observational documentary series Tales from the Wild Wood, a six-part series on British forestry management. The show follows a year in the life of woodsman and author Rob Penn as he tackles an unruly wood. Harry said, “I knew as much about forestry as the next person. The producers had been working on the show for two years. I had two months to get to grips with it.” His elegant score greatly enhances this beautiful and lyrical show. The show is produced by Indus Films, who were responsible for The Fisherman’s Apprentice with Monty Hall, which Harry also wrote music for.
