Accorder Music Publishing is delighted to announce its appointment as publisher to Harry Lightfoot, one of the brightest young British song writing talents.
As well as the formidable live performances, Harry has maintained a prolific song writing catalogue which he performs as lead singer in the band Farleigh, the highly talented, musically superb four piece rock band. Raised on a heady diet of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Steely Dan, Fountains of Wayne and Muse, Farleigh’s contemporary take of bluesy riffs, rock and cool melody is starting to turn heads.
Accorder Creative Director Anne Miller said, ‘Harry is a huge talent, not only a wonderful songwriter but an enormously gifted musician and performer. Once his potential is unlocked he shall be a force to reckon with.’
Harry, who studied and obtained his degree in Jazz saxophone at The Birmingham Conservatoire has worked with some top UK soul bands, SoulPower and VIP.and has been involved in productions at the internationally renowned theatre company The Chicken Shed. Writing music is a huge part of Harry’s musical life and as well as Farleigh and his jazz band, he composes for film (Sticks & Stones premiered at the G8 summit) and TV.
Harry is also currently working on a joint chillout/electronica album with world renowned jazz musician Julian Marc Stringle. Together they are known as Miprojekt.
Farleigh spent most of last year in the studio recording and experimenting and then they came out back into the light with their first EP, adeptly named Farleigh.

‘Found, meanwhile, sounds like what Chris Martin might come up with after he’d had an injection of Britpop serum.’ – Music Mart Magazine
Gentle, melodic, occasionally rocking. It’s not gonna blow your ears off, rather slide gently into your brain and swish around tunefully before taking up residence.
