(1st March 2009) Barrington Pheloung has composed the music for Red Riding 1983, the powerful final part of the eagerly-awaited Red Riding trilogy starring Warren Clarke and David Morrissey. Barrington’s emotive score underpins the concluding, gripping instalment, where another young girl disappeares and Detective Chief Superintendent Maurice Jobson (Morrissey) recognises alarming similarities to the 1974 abductions, forcing him to come to terms with the fact that he may have helped convict the wrong man. Red Riding 1983 is directed by Anand Tucker.
