DVD Double First for Barrington
TV Composer Barrington Pheloung has made TV musical history by scoring a double triumph with his latest TV soundtracks ending up on the UK's two best-selling DVD's - for Lewis (ITV) and Red Riding 1983 (C4). It's the first time the same composer has provided the music for the two best-selling UK DVD's.
Pheloung, one of the most prolific and successful TV composers in the UK, has been writing the music for Lewis since its launch in 2006. Prior to this, he provided the music for all 33 episodes of Morse. Lewis, the highly successful spin-off from Morse has repeatedly been the highest rating drama in the UK since its launch. Pheloung's involvement in Red Riding 1983 (the third party of the trilogy) re-united him with director Anand Tucker, who he has worked with on a number of projects including the Steve Martin Movie Shopgirl.
