Barrington Pheloung is a composer, conductor and performer of international renown. Barrington has an immense catalogue that includes fifty-two ballet scores for many dance companies worldwide, concertos for numerous instruments, scores for film, television, radio, and theatre. Barrington has also composed for new media, writing for multiple platforms of computer entertainment.
A busy and prolific composer, Barrington's recent productions include Anand Tucker's RED RIDING 1983 (starring David Morrissey, Mark Addy and Sean Bean), Sharon Maguire's INCENDIARY (starring Ewan McGregor and Michelle Williams), Tucker's AND WHEN DID YOU LAST SEE YOUR FATHER? (starring Colin Firth and Jim Broadbent) and the romantic comedy SHOPGIRL (starring Steve Martin, Claire Danes & Jason Schwartzman) for Disney.
Well known for his work in television, Barrington's work has been enjoyed in all episodes of INSPECTOR MORSE and currently the hugely successful spin-off LEWIS for ITV / Granada.
