The wonderful music from the magical animated series The Day Henry Met is now set to find an even bigger world audience with the news that 104 episodes have now been commissioned. The score is composed by The Day Henry Met creator and designer Gary Gill with Daniel O’Gorman and published by Accorder.
Henry was launched less than two years ago with 26 episodes and has gone on to become a huge critical and ratings success story. The purchasing of a 3rd and 4th series just after the start of series two is a massive achievement.
The Day Henry Met is produced by Dublin-based Wiggleywoo Ltd. The series won the Pulcinella Award for Best European Work at Cartoons on the Bay in 2015. Nick Jr screen the shows in UK, Scandinavia, Benelux, Germany, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Central & Eastern Europe, Russia, Israel, Australia and New Zealand, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. It’s also seen in Ireland, Sweden, Canada, Finland and France.
