Time for Nik & Accorder

TFSAccorder is delighted to be publishing the music for Time for School ( 40 x 11 ) a brand new CBeebies fly-on-the-wall series following the ups and downs of youngsters starting school. The music for the series, produced by the wonderful Sixth Sense Media, has been written by Accorder composer Nik Ammar. The show starts on Monday January 6th 2014 and will follow the children on their first day and throughout that first term at two different schools – Mere Green Primary School in Sutton Coldfield and Lowick and Holy Island C of E First Schools in Northumberland. The cameras capture everything from first-day nerves to finding out where to hang coats, to deciding what to have for school dinners.

Nik Ammar is a multi-talented, award-winning composer who has written for numerous TV shows and documentaries, including The Vampire Diaries, Come Dine With Me, Location Location Location, The Wright Stuff, Waterloo Road, Hollyoaks and Dragon’s Den. Nik’s also has written music for the soon to be released movie Dirty Weekend. Nik began his professional music career as instrumentalist and songwriter in the internationally acclaimed band Oi Va Voi and has worked with a wide variety of artists including KT Tunstall and Annie Lennox.

The highly acclaimed Sixth Sense Media is an independent TV production company with offices in the North and South of England. Set up in 2000 by MD Sallyann Keizer, Sixth Sense specialises in creating high quality broadcast factual and factual entertainment content.
