A leading German kids’ broadcaster has acquired Mouk, the Millimages-produced toon about a pair of globe-trotting cycling bears. Millimages, an Accorder client and one of the biggest European animation producer/distributors, has sold the show to over a dozen territories including ABC in Australia and key European broadcasters.
Kika becomes the latest channel to take on the 62 x 11 toon, first commissioned by France Télévisions and Disney Channel in the UK. Disney nets across Europe, the Middle East and Africa have also recently acquired the show.
The German channel will broadcast Mouk this year. The series follows the travels of two cyclist friends who travel to world discovering about the different cultures and people in each country or city.
